i was thinking of making a halo-like single player mappack and some multiplayer maps. i have elongation alredy and rim suggested zanzabar next or beaver/battle creek. anyone else got any other ideas (other than bloodgulch/coagulation or containment with HL1 cant handle)

im gettin a new pc in a few weeks so i can start on source, maby then ill do the bigger maps

i just got an idea today for a HLDM map, letme know what you think.

A Covanant capitol ship hanger. Like the one in "Truth & Recinthiliation" on the first halo.

The few Halo DM maps I've seen strike me as horrible simple, almost killboxes. This may work for Halo, but I think with Half-Life's gameplay you'll need to do some better layouts.
Using some Halo theme's would be nice if you pull it off well, though.

I have made Halo maps before. I had made "Derelict" and "Hang 'em high". A good map to bring to Half-life (or CS) would be "Rat Race" I guess, but that's another story... :roll:

If you are going to make a Halo map make sure it doesn't suck like the one from Sven :)

that one from sven coop had nothing to do with halo, or i did but had absolutly no resemblance.....for example...the armchair in the "computer lab"...WTF :lol:

I seriously think that the first room in sc_halo was supposed to be the main deck form the first Halo game. At the same time I really hope that it WAsNT supposed to even be related to Halo, horrendous map :zonked:
