Remember how in half life 2 the citizens will walk around in arranged paths that they choose? I know some of the entities involved in that but I need a detailed explenation of how to do it. :zonked:

Detailed descriptions are best left to tutorials. Look around for tutorials dealing with "ai_script," "ai_schedule," "scripting," "path_corner," etc.

Start with the valve developer site.

And take a look in the sourcesdk_contenthl2mapsrc folder. It contains various example maps and the source of some of the first HL2 maps too. Especially those should be interesting for you. ;)

I think they used an ai_goal_actbusy combined with info_node_hints.
