Hey all! Been a while (again LOL)

I'm sure none of you knew what has been happening with me, but some of you know about the surgeries and stuff with my left foot.....

Just in case you hadn't found out about this yet, here's a picture of me.....6 weeks ago this Monday I had my left leg amputated below the knee! WHY? Because the last surgeon (ankle fusion last year) messed it all up by not monitoring an infection that ended up spreading.

I feel great, and I am eager to be up and walking again on that prosthetic! This Monday I am going into Rehab for 2 weeks. Until then, I'm gonna play with some mapping and see if I can improve my skills.

I missed you guys

I've had a doctor's malpractice affect me too, just not to this extent.

If only every doctor was like Satchmo =[ We'd all be injuring ourselves to go to his office with our boxes and have a LAN, and play HLDM and such.

Yeah things are good now.

Osteomyelitis was the infection, nasty staph in the bone... hardf to get rid of.

So, off to the Source forum to ask some stupid questions ROFL

Oh shit, I didn't know it was that bad. I remember you mentioning some foot problems and some surgeons screwing up. Glad to see how well you seem to be taking it, though

And of course I have to ask what everyone else is asking: Are you suring the shit out of the surgeon?

I have spoken to a few lawyers who have turned down the case. However that was BEFORE I had to have the foot chopped off. My issue now is the amount of time it has been since the infection first set in. A lawyer may have issues with why I waited.
