When I set my apache to trigger a target when it dies. (trigger condition)

It does not trigger it when it crashes.
What could be the problem?

I think the way the trigger on death works is that it triggers once the dying animation is completed. Apache's and Ospreys don't have them.

Trigger Condition - 50% Health Remaining doesn't work as well :( . So how can I trigger an event when this Apache dies or takes heavy damage?

Just give up. I think Half-Life is teh broken when it comes to trigger conditions on the Apache. I once coded a door to open after an Apache was destroyed (mind the Apache was destroyed by a Gargantua, though you can watch the awesomeness through the window) - didn't work.

NO! I can not give up! I think I got a solution to this :)
What if I make a huge trigger_once (with monsters and no client flags ticked) which covers the area under the path_corners? So when Apache dies/gets destroyed, it must fall through the trigger_once in order to hit the ground and explode. It might work? Right?

note: Also we have to make sure that there aren't other obstacles which the Apache can hit and explode before going through the trigger.

Should work depending on the level.

I don't think a dead monster can trigger a trigger.
Seems weird, but give it a go

Espen's right, it isn't dead until it hits the ground and goes boom.

I had this problem when making Fathom 2.4 That orange rescue chopper was just a apache with a CS model but I wanted Barney to fall off the catwalk when the chopper died but it never happened. The only way to do it was use a timer, which was poor quality because I could never accurately predict or control the apache's movement. I don't think any of the monster triggers work on the apache 'cause I tried 50% health, death, sight the player, take damage and none of them worked. :(

Hah, it WORKS! Don't delete the obstacles which the Apache can hit and explode before going through the trigger, cover them with the same trigger_once as well.

Woowaa!
