Hi, umm this is prob an easy one for you guys ^^
The M249 SAW in OpFor, my fav weapon, but i do not
like the kickback recoil that sends me feet back when
fired, HOW do i change the recoil?

you can't. it's completely impossible.
because the op4 source code is not public like the HL source code. the recoil is in the code, and you can't change the code. so you can't change the recoil.
Penguinboy PenguinboyHaha, I died again!

ummmmmm the only Assembly i know of is called
Front Line Assembly ;)
Its some form of c++? And no, my understanding of
scripting is immensly limited, i can at best
change some of the Doom 3 weapon behaviours :I

People have recreated the opposing force source code very well, you might have to ask them.

ummm who are "they"?? Sorry if i sound oblivious and

make a script

try something like

cl_pitchspeed 50
alias +re "+attack; +lookdown"
alias -re "-attack; -lookdown"
bind mouse1 "+re"

experiment with the cl_pitchspeed.

He's talking about the gun pushing the player backwards. And just looking down won't help the reocil in Op4-- the punch recoil for the saw is a random circle, meaning it'll go up, down, left, right, and everything in between.
