You ask people to record lines from a script and then they send them too you. Thats generally how voice acting works. :/

For 7 tasks source we want to have episode 2 blood. even ep1 blood. any ideas? I've seen many mods have this.

No, I mean the Episode 2 and 1 decals using GCFscape. Then rename them and put them in the materials folder, then you should be able to use them as seperate decals. If you want them to replace the originals, just don't rename them.

Wait. Are you after decals (blood splats on walls which are all the same from HL2 to Ep1 and Ep2) or the sprites? (Blood splatter and spray in the air from impact)

If its the sprites you want then you'll have to rip the sprites out of the ep2's GCF file. They may require some scripting / coding though because of the way they're generated. I recall hearing the effect was dynamic, but what that means I couldn't say. :rly:

okay well I now have evberything up and running. I just want toi know something from a modeller. I have weapon smds and skins but when I compile it all the weapon doesn't show. I followed the VDC and it didn't work and I had an all day google look around. so how can make the weapon combine with the hands to make it all stick together.

it's skill config and that's exactly the same as it was. and poison zombie has the same thing. not the fast though. it'd be terrible if through out 7 tasks if you see a zombie it ca't hurt you.

Well I did create another mod called code src whiich is where I keep my backed up coding. I've already copied and pasted the code and still nothing. it's very strange. I'm gonna work on it today just to see whats going on.

Well I copied and pasted an old backup server.dll which still has all the main stuff I added. I figured that the last thing in the coding I did was create a new zombie type. ended up recreating the Header and c ++ files. so thats basezombie and zombie. I think it would be that.

Did you delete the actual attack code?
It's probably playing the animation, just not actually running the attack part.

hmm maybe but when I got the original hl2 zombie fils it did the same thing. I'm just thinking that the attack code somehow went spazzy after trying to make to zombies and ended up saving it somewhere in the solution that I don't know about.
