I mapped a cube that a 357 spawns above. It falls through a small hole into it. When the player jumps under the cube, the gun is thrown out of it with trigger pushes and an invisible door that goes up and down fast. The 357 is thrown onto the floor away from the cube. I was making a mario effect. Anyways, in multiplayer if the player picks up the 357 20 seconds later it respawns where he picked it up on the floor. I want it to respawn back above the cube where it started. Any way to do this? The sloppy way would be to have an invisible train that picks it off the ground and brings it into the box quickly but I just want it to respawn where it was first placed.

HAHA, don't worry, my train method works! In fact the train moves as if it were to scoop up the weapon before it even respawns and than for some reason it respawns back in the mario cube. Don't even know how it works but wow it does!

But can't the train drag the player too?

yup, if your standing there for that milisecond. But it works other than that so I don't care...

Try replacing the gun with a monstermaker.
The gun probably respawns where it first comes to a rest.

Yeah, because you are actually moving the entity it stays where it lands. Like you said, the only real solution would be to carry the entity back to the box. Glad it worked. I just hope it won't hinder the player in any way.
