I propose an addition of GMOD content. I realize that it may not be as popular here, but it could very well become popular given the right amount of moderation.

I'd also like to ask if I could contribute to helping to the site, yes, becoming a MOD is what i would like. I've been a member here for a while, and I have admin'd my own forums in teh past, as well as other sites forum systems.

Please give it some thought, I'm obviously not going anywhere now (please see my rant about facefu, er, facepunch LOL)

Well, you can add GMOD content obviously, we just don't have a little icon for it or whatever. I doubt there's enough GMOD maps here to warrant it. That's pretty much the deciding factor behind a game/mod having its own icon here.

And, no offense regarding your aspirations of being a mod here, but I really don't see you around that much. At all. Just occasionally. And there's other members who I can't believe aren't mods yet.

Well is there anything else I might be able to do to contribute to the site? As I said I have been around a while, just ask the orginal site admins, I even coopped a map with one of them once. WAY before HL2 was even thought of

Fair nuff though, only reason I havent been around is discouragement. For as long as I have had Half-Life and the games that followed, my mapping skills have been terrible, my ability to play Counter Strike, and CS:S is basically that of a 12 year old running into a bank yelling "this is a stick on!" with a water pistol (in other words I cant shoot for sh**)

And I guess I just havent been able to find common ground with many people here.

So in your standards, how long does someone have to be here to volunteer his time for free? How many of the "members" have a full or part time job srry? Me, I'm handicapped (amputee) and I have no job to speak of so I have plenty of time to contribute into things.

If you're the last poster in a thread, you can edit your post by clicking the edit link next to your name on the right. Editing bumps the thread too, so you shouldn't have to double post.

I've made an icon for it and several other games that currently aren't in the map vault. It's up to Pb when you'll see them in there, though... probably when TWHL4 rolls around. >_>

Penguin, this is one of those times where things like that escaped me..... I'm used to facelick's method..... if you "double post" it automatically "edit's" the post.

Wait, I do? That's odd that you mention that, because I don't recall ever speaking to you, except maybe once or twice... and that must have been a long time ago. I never thought I had a problem with you...

But then again, I am an asshole in general, so it's quite possible.

Totally off-topic, but it's worth mentioning that Zombieloffe or Trapt used that specific smiley as an example of how there's too many ridiculous smileys on the forums.
