Recommending Crypt Of The NecroDancer!

Been playing a lot of Crypt Of The NecroDancer after getting it, what, two days ago? Shit is damn fun! The only problem I have with it is that I don't listen to much beat-y music, so finding particularly good custom music for it is tricky. And technically that's a problem with me, not the game. Looking forward to the finished product!

So I've owned Space Engineers for months, but have olny really messed around with it in creative mode and to look at cool shit on the Steam Workshop, but I recently started playing it on survival and holy shit, game is so much fun. I've been playing it almost non-stop for the last 2 or 3 days. It's awesome and you should give it a go, one of the few good Early Access games. Probably the only Early Access game I don't regret buying.

Yeah, looks like On A Rail Uncut. Very nice add-on - the developer is now doing offical BMDM maps.

I realised the other day that I had actually never finished Black Mesa. I've only played up as far as those first houndeyes you encounter, right after the resonance cascade.

I wonder when the team will finish making Black Mesa.

I am still staying up at night playing Minecraft.

Yep, it's On a Rail Uncut. I have also installed Surface Tension Uncut.

I have also installed the Black Mesa Animation Revamp pack as I didn't really like the original weapon animations. With this pack, weapon animations are much better.

If you're going to replay it, install those add-ons I linked to a couple posts up.

I am now in the Lambda Reactor Complex. The game crashed about 20 times since I started playing, it's pretty unstable at the later chapters. :/

My framerate drops a bit in the room with the coolant and the burst pipe. Other than that I had no issues in the late game.

Then I shot a man in the stomach when he tried to get in. He fell unconscious so I bandaged and resuscitated him, passed him a bottle of water and he limped away after saying. "I no mad at you, I get message."

Also started playing Skyrim again, uploading the highlights to YouTube as I did with Fallout 3 as Lord Casserole. Sadly, my Fallout 3 saves have broken so I can't carry on with the series. Here is the first episode of a new series dubbed: Rimming the Sky with Nord Casserole.

Number 6 - out in to the skybox much like my brief adventure to the skybox.

I personally don't mind the grind as for me persistence pays off seeing as it took me three months to finally complete Banshee when she was released. I guess RNGesus really hated me.

IIRC it's a game in MC where you have to try to remove blocks from below one another and the one that falls through loses. Could be mistaken...

Launched Battlefield 4 for the first time in months following the recent game changing, bug fixing, boner inspiring patch dubbed by players as "Battlefield 4 2.0"

My thoughts? Well, I managed to play BF4 online for about 5 hours straight without feeling the need to snap my keyboard in half. Every time I died I knew it was my fault and not some game breaking glitch.

It was good. Now that the game is playable and selling at £20 it's full of inexperienced sniper fodder and my £80 investment from 2 years ago feels worth it. :P

@ TMA - What game is that?
@ Kurosaki Ichigo - I sat on a lvl 30 Volt for the longest time and I finally have Oberon. I'm finally getting used to his playstyle but I kinda miss my Electric shock power from Volt. It was SO OP against Corpus walkers.
Found some prime blueprints and I have to revisit the void to get the rest of em.
I've also gotten the Spaghetti monster glitch a few times. It's quite amusing.

Finished an old, medieval styled Quake 2 mod called Dawn Of Darkness, really loved it, the RPG aspects of it, dialogues and though the visuals were very simple and minimal, somehow it reflected the violence and darkness of the medieval times quite well.

Not long ago I also finished a HL2 mod called G-String, in a way, one of the scariest games I ever played.

I just finished Metro last light. Over a solid fps experience with lots of good fun. I wish it was longer and it could have some improvements. I don't like the trade system, even though I played on hardest difficulty I never had an issue with ammo so trading became useless. Also don't like the mute brickhero character you're playing, somehow it just makes the story so unappealing not being able to socialize, take initiative or have an actual character. Have anyone else played this game? I'm a bit late I think it was released half a year ago.

Very pretty game, Lajron, but the UI looks terrible. Is it configurable to get rid of some of the ugly icons?

In other news, this is still completely capturing my attention. What a phenomenal farewell to this generation of the Ego engine. It has served us so well over the past four years.

Way too much fun. Way too exciting. I get SUCH an adrenaline rush from this. If you fully commit to the realism and don't allow restarts or assists, every championship point is worth everything within you. I'm literally sweating after every race, and I'm only doing between 25-35 laps.
