I'm creating a modern prison camp, where you have to deactivate each "cell" to get to a weapon or suit... I want to use 6 beams for each cell entrance, with 6 other beans as a wall in between each cell - is there a way to use a multimanager to accomplish this or do I have to create all those env_beam ents?

that's okay - I forget what entity to use to make stationary beams work anyways, and like an ass I deleted my map vault entry for it.

Each beam is an env_beam. You can't copy them so to create multiple beams with one env_beam.

info_targets for stationary start/end points, func_trains for moving start/end points.

info_targets didn't work...

I have 2 info_targets beam1start & beam1end
I have the env_beam with those 2 info_targets deignated, life=0
The flag "start on" in checked in the env_beam

It will not work

You had the same problem a while ago, not? Probably your beam is invisible again. Check the render modes, FX, amounts... :)

smacks head and yells

DUH!!!!! Beam color snickers

Didn;t I do this from before? LOL

Well it works, and now I'm wondering if tyhere's a way to create multiple beams with the same env_beam, or so I have to create EACH AND EVERY env_beam for each line... can you overlap all the env_beams?
