You have 1 leak, several CSG errors amd a MAX_LEAF_ERROR. That means you have too many leafs. Also, don't use the Q tools, use ZHLT. Look in the links section.

If it still doesn't work, you can post the map in the Problems section of the Vault. As for ministeves box solution, that's a very bad fix that causes longer compile times and worse performance. There would be other ways to fix your problem.

Oh, and I'm Dutch too... and we're with more... just check out the forum of my site and you'll see... :)

nope still dont works, i delete some walls and still get the same error.

i'll think i need to start again. since i dont have a backup :lol:
as i tryed to compile while some walls are gone, in hope: delete walls = delete errors, my pc got stuck and closed hammer (not responding) and the large green thing saved it :badass: so i think now the error is still in it.

The ent outside world error mostly occurs when wrongly deformed brush has been fixed by the tools. did you use vertex manipulation anywhere. also try to use the 'check for probs' dialogue. if there are 'invalid solid structure' errors you have to fix them, manually or with the button.

First of all:
The map is too big - or should I say, there's too much area visible. Reduce that area, and the problem might go away.
Secondly, you have no info_player_start. cant play a map w/o that!

press alt + p - there is like 10-20 "Entityname is emty". Select the error, press Go To, the press delete, to remove this error.

Make sure you read all the in the beginning tutorials, to get a head start.

my advice was to draw the selection box around it. then u change the textures too 1.00 on x and y. it eliminates the possibility of textures being too small or big even if u do have to resize some of them later.

ZL's advice is right.
Check my comments at the Vault....
This map really needs some work to get it to run.
You should try to center your map in the grid and not let it get within 128-256 units of the edge.
Get rid of the Skybox and build in sections....
This should solve most of the problems.

I have had that error in my second map, a giant city. It was too big, as the error is explaned on tommy's site (Put a link here). I threw the map away since it was just plain too big. I didn't want to cut out anything. Too cool, so now it is dead. I suppose you should try again, and aim for something realistic, or you are using a skybox. Kill you skybox and it COULD work.

well the map is fixed, dont ask why; i fixed all the problems and tryed it with zonertools, it would not create bsp, tryed qtools and it works perfect.

just 1 thing, i got sounds that is controlled my a button , how do you configurate it that it starts off?

QTools cuts lots of corners. One map I made detected a coplaner plane in ZHLT and QTools left it alone, but when I played it, it was f**ked up. So try and get it working with ZHLT.

Captain P , well i have nowere light_envirement and still there is light all over the place. maybe if i close the building later on when its all done then it will be dark (i hope).

Your map is total bright due to a leak, or a lack of light entities. When you have no light entities, the map is always made full-bright. Adding a light would be a good thing to do.

As for the layout of your map, it's way too open. You should start with creating one closed room and connecting it with a hallway to another room, and so on. Then when you want to see the sky behind a window or trough an open ceiling, you should add a skybrush behind this window or over this ceiling. The whole box isn't necessary, very bad in fact due to it's many sideeffects. Just be sure to have sealed your level from the outside, the void.

yes. CP is right. a 1 unit by 1 unit brush textured with sky can give the same impression as a whole box (depending on the location, and 1 unit was just an extreme example ;) ) and have no side effects.
the sky looks the same no matter where or how the brush is placed. you don't even need to have all the sky brushes line up (although this is bad practice, it still works)
the sky texture simply points the game to the specific TGA and renders it from different angles etc.

look at the countermap tutorials page for a good description of sky brushing
