Ok, sorry if this is covered in the tuts but i wanna ask here rather than search for it (I'm in college )

Ok so i wanted to make a scene similar to that in HL. Barney doesn't let you through the door without your HEV. Good barney! Doing his job well. Shame about the death and stuff 15 minutes later.

Anyway, i want to make a similar scene in one of my levels but i can't get barney to deny access and then allow it next time he sees me (With hev)

You need to use the picking-up of the HEV suit to trigger a multisource. Consult jaardsi's excellent example map here to find how to lock and unlock a door using a multisource.

Once you understand how to do that, I'm sure you can figure out how to sort out barney (I can't off the top of my head :))
