I know i probably shouldn't post this in General Mapping Questions but knowone is replying in the other forum so i'm posting here anyways, i am making my first model for my first mod I made my model but i need to skin it i can't find it in the tutorials and i can't find it on the net if you could help that would be great!

is it by Discreet? if so i just got it but you saw my picture that is what I made in MilkShape 3D i don't know what format it should be in to texture it!

ah, i see your problem, you will need to planar/box/cylidricla unwrap your model and shift it, then save it as a template and open it up in photoshop, skinnning in milkshape is a horror.

search for lithunwrap 1.3 download in google

Skinning in Milkshape isn't that hard, the Texture Coordinate Editor just doesn't offer a lot of possibilities but it's definitely possible to skin a model... a search on Google returned me with some usefull tutorials:

Convert the image with IrfanView. I will delete uncompressed images in future.
