whenever i set a name for my lights there appearence looks normal even if i have the appearence set to flicker or ne other appearance. Anyone no why?

I think it's because the light is waiting to be triggered as it has a name. Just take away the name unless you really need it for some reason.

Lights with the same name behave the same, e.g. have the same appearance, as far as I've tested it. So, only give names when they're necessary, and give different names to lights that have to appear different.
