CS (sometimes), HL (a little more), Op4 (it's like enhanced HL so i play it the most) + other mods (veeeery often) But i think that HL is the greatest, every other HL-based-mod is part of that great game.

I can map anything for any mod, my skill with mapping remains the same so i'm pretty well rounded at mapping anything for any MOD, My fav has to be Op4 - so cool being a soldier.

HALF-LIFE!!! Without HL, there will be no CS! CS is teh suxxorzz coz they try too much to make it realistic though it's more unrealistic than HL itself! I mean, it's OK to see people in HEV suit runnin around and using gluon guns and stuff coz its da fyutshah...but its NOT OK to see terrorist and counter-terrorist shooting while jumping and running around and stuff! ...plus i love that fast-paced multiplayer feel in HL, rather than shooting somebody and getting money or being shot at and waiting for the noobs to find each other! Hail Gordon Freeman! HL OWNS ALL!!!

CS maps are more advanced than HL? Are you nuts? Nothing is harder to do than a decent singleplayer map. Maybe a good cooperative map with a nice story, but no game features this. Guess why so many people map for MP and not for SP. It's much harder to find a good SP map than a nice looking MP map. And CS is one of the easiest, you don't have to pay attention to many things. SC for example is much harder to map than CS.

I am strictly HL... I map for multiplayer, but that is to practice the different techniques. Mapping a singleplayer game would be great, but I like to make sure I have a fair understanding of something before attempting it. MP has other players to distract or add interest. SP is all about the mapping.

Noone mentioned how hard it can be to get a good CS layout for a cs_ or a de_ map...
Mapping isn't just technical knowledge. It's much broader. Technical knowledge only allows you to express your idea's better or faster. Without gameplay insight or creativity, it is of little use...
Therefor, I wouldn't quickly say one mod is easier to map for than another. Each has it's own difficulties, and each person has it's own preferences and skills...

CP, you're right. But talking about the basics, it's harder to make map the you may call SP than a map that can be played in MP. Of course building a good or realistic map in general is not easy, no matter whether you do it for DOOM3 or Half-Life.
