the thing is i have steam, and i got counterstrike off of steam.. so i dont have the gfx/env/skyname.tga files
so i downloaded one called snowcliff
i have al of them like snowcliffup.tga, snowcliffdn.tga
and i put it in the map in map properties as snowcliff
but whenever i start the game.. counterstrike closes without warning..
am i doing something wrong?

You've probably placed them in the wrong folder...
Try running a normal map and see what happens to ensure whether the problem is related specifically to this map.

yeah... they run fine.. but when i try to run my map.. it doesnt work
but if i take the sky out it works fine
