is there a way to get the camera on a dif yaw so it looks like people are walking on the ceiling or wall.......... any ideas? i cant really turn the map around, cos the gravity would be screwed up

Nope, you don't have such control over the cameras.

What you could do, is rotating small parts of the level (while the player can only see these parts, and can't return to a previous part), where the rest of the level is in that orientation.
So, you would have a normal area and a flipped area. At a certain point, a part of the level rotates so it aligns well with the flipped area. The player can't return and will continue in the flipped area, thinking the whole level was flipped, or the gravitation was rotated.

As I said, you can fake it by actually rotating the room the player is in. So after the rotation the player walks on the ceiling. And the rest of the level is made flipped so it will look like the gravity changed for the whole level.

While really just a small part was rotated... :)

You see, it's a way to fake it. Ever seen Gunman: Chronicles intro? Apart from that it looked horrible, the effect with the elevator and the seemingly different gravities was done the same way.

hmmm i dont think im explaining it right, it needs to be done with a camera... and i want the 'actors' to look like they are walking on the wall.... to do this they must be walking on the floor (because you cant change gravity direction) which is decorated as if it were a wall..... but this means that the camera will auto matically be on the same yaw as the actors (as if it were affected by gravity).....

Oh, I see. Well, then it can't be done, unless you want to code or create some nifty extra animations for the models involved...

Well..you could use ns..edit the models on it and use skulks ^_^.

But Im not sure if that mod uses trigger_cameras

I'm betting it will. I reckon there will be a million movies made with the Source engine. It's too gorgeous to resist!! :P
