So I guess I'm the only one that chose a rather small place...
A place that leaves room for some nice details and entity trickery, that is...
Progress looks good, and I think this will become a rather interesting challenge.

I think this will become a rather interesting challenge. That was the original idea. Challenging, even to experienced mappers.
Mhh... I'm getting a bit worried about the playability of some entries...ARGH! Who cares about performance! That isn't important at the moment. Ill will only map that part you see in the picture. Everything behind won't be mapped, since i have no idea how it looks like.
performance-wise spoken...
and it is not funny to pick such a name to flame peace and love, anonymous.yeah, i agree pepper. but if you read that a little closer, you can see that he is actually making a sarcastic attempt at a flame towards me. here too: http://cariad.co.za/twhl/forums.php?pgt=1&action=viewthread&id=5378&pg=1
I don't plan to let you actually play it though...enter the trigger_camera!As long as you're able to keep the high-poly area's out of sight, then that's no problem off course.
As long as you're able to keep the high-poly area's out of sight, then that's no problem off course. That's gonna be damn hard seeing as the High Poly area is the main attraction! Func_wall may come in handy though...
Bullsh*t! (lol) You can have about 1500 w_poly and 6000 e poly before it gets unplayable and laggy, on a half decent PC, I have GF2 and Athlon1800 and my PC sucks, yet I'll be able to run that fine.
Be sure it runs fine on the machines of the judges, though...Well, that's the trouble. Both Andy and I have sucky video cards. Afaik, Andy has a 16MB card, and I have an Nvidia Vanta 16MB.....
