Can u have monsters in multi player i tried but it didn't work. please help

it is possible, and easy at that. if you have your console enabled, host a game (LAN, Internet, whatever), go into your console and type
sv_monsters 1. Im NOT POSITIVE that is what you type, but it is something along those lines. Here, let me check really quick.
