The name of the texture is ScrollWhite, if I've made sure of the SCROLL in the name once I've done it a hundred times. This bitch of a texture will not scroll. I just spent about one and a half hours(not kidding) trying to figure out why I can't get this texture to move on a func_conveyor with an additive render. Don't give me suggestions on how to fix it, I've done everything and thats not an exaggeration either.
However, if you can succefully get it to scroll with an additive render send it back and tell me how you fixed because I'm swapped out of ideas.
Do not give me suggestions on how to fix it unless you have personally done it yourself with this specific texture

I made an example map for ya. The conveyor has the Additive render mode and a texture very simillar to your one. Info on how it was done in the readme.. :)

Maybe use only capital letter! : They did that in the game's textures! :tired:

What do you mean by "didn't work"? What happens?
Elon: Lowercase, not capital letters..

It doesnt scroll what else would happen? I've renamed, re-angled, resized, "recapitalized", and remade(the func_conveyer several times). I give up, its not that important anyway, I was going to use it for a gound scanner in a computer themed map but its not worth all this trouble.

Try another texture with the same name.

Are you sure it's not scrolling? Try rotating the texture itself ninety degrees (not applying it at ninety degrees, actually rotate the texture in the WAD file). Y'never know.

Re-angled = rotate, sorry brain fart.

Upload the map/wad or with the texture imbedded, and I'll try it if you want. No reason i shouldn't work...

I know how annoying it can be when seemingly simple things just refuse to work...:(

Have you tested the func_conveyor with a standard Half-Life scroll texture already? Just to pinpoint the source of the problem (since it's either a wrong func_conveyor setup or a wrong texture naming).

Yes I did, and it worked.

It was a complicated setup, I deleted it and would really prefer not to have to set it up again. I've finished the map without the texture so just forget about it.
