When I first downloaded it, I was'nt at all familiar with it, I thought it was as good as wally or paintbrush.. Until I started using it, and the more I used the more I learned, so yep, ITS FUDGING AMAZING!!! :D

Anyways, everyone, show off your resent photos.. I'll start!
First off, this is the photo I began with, just a normal picture of the gman.
http://manero.shackspace.com/gman/gman-03.jpg

After editing him a bit, I made this, impressive eh!?
http://img332.imageshack.us/img332/8352/brain6se.jpg

but hey, it's not the greatest, he looks a bit pixelated right, plus if I want to make him into a zombie, he needs blood, correct? Definetly.

So...

...I added blood...

...Then I added even more blood...

And here was the finished result: A Zombified Gman!

Well it's really easy to do! ;)

1)Create a new layer
2)Go to Filter->render->clouds
3)Use the brush tool to clear some parts
4)Lower the opacity to 20% and start darkning areas using the brush tool to make it look realer!
5)Go to Layer->new adjustments layer->Gradient Map. In the gradient map window tick the dither checkbox. In the gradient editor choose black, white gradient color(those little squares). Add two new color stops. The first one from the left will be black, the second orange, the third yellow and the last white. Play with the color stops a little till you get a nice settesfing image!
:)

And you have created nice flames! :D

I can make decent brushed aluminum. I'll post a short guide and example in a second...

EDIT: Here we go...

1. Create an image, any size.
2. Make a gradiant, any gradiant, beware, it will take time to get a gradient that is good enough. Experiment alot.
3. Create a new layer and set it to the current layer.
4. Goto Filters/Noise/Make noise. Set amount to 10, type to Gaussian, and tick monochrome.
5. Goto Blur/Motion Blur. Set level to 30/35 depending on desired effect.

Here is my example:

Warning, it will take practice with gradients to get decent results, just keep trying.

Is there an Adobe Paintshop?
I know about Adobe PhotoShop and Jasc Paint Shop Pro. They actually seem to do the exact same tasks, but Paint Shop Pro takes less time to load.

Maybe this is a hybrid program or something? I was wondering the same thing myself. I'm guessing its just a simple mistake, which I can correct if nessecary.

Edit: Oh wait, you couldn't. Well, I guess you're stuck.
That's nice Unbreakable. When you've learned some you should try and not follow tutorials, just look at the first and last results and try to recreate it.

Nope, photoshop has a lot more alternatives and image enhancement options.
The only downside to it really, is that it costs insane amounts of money, but warez h4xx0rz don't really care.

Everyone's always talking about the big Photoshop...

I pretty much like PSP so far. It allows me to do what I want to do, so that's just fine.

Anyone who's done some more texture work bythway? I rarely see any texture artists here...

if you want photoshop but cant afford it, try the GIMP at gimp.org. its available for every platform, just as powerful as photoshop, and it is 100% FREE!!!
