I?m wondering... You know closed door that will never open but makes a sound (you know, this kind of door that lead to nowhere ?cos there?s nothing behind, but adds depth to your map...). I like them, I mean, I can have a hallway full of doors, all make locked sounds when I come near but only a few open...
The thing is, I make them like a normal door with a brush behind to prevent a leak (entity and world) and assign to them a master that is not possible to activate. This way they act as if they were closed. Is there any other way of doing this?. Do naming them work?. I?m with c++ now so I?m dropping this to read it tomorrow, when I?m back to map.

Don't know! When I make locked doors, I lock them by not giving them an angle! And assigning a locked sound of course! I don't normally do rotating doors! I'm used to doing sliding doors cos most of my maps are set in high-tech enviroments! Can't help you there! :( Sorry!
p.s Good luck with the C++! I learnt it in a few months by teaching myself y'know!

Sure the angle thing will work. I?m tired of complex stuff for a simple fake door... Thanks Master.
By the way, hope I can do something for HL with C++, it would be cool to have a glock with that nice laser thing. I even read the code somewhere (guess... I could do it myself but it would be nicer to learn and to implementate it as I want).

Just give the door a name of for example "lkgmnkfkgnkfngknf" And it will be locked. Don't forget the sounds though.

but, don't forget to put a solid brush behind the door if you use that to cover a hole in the map ;)

Thanks guys!!!!. Seems the name thing will work. By the way, I know how to use the locked sound, moving and close sound but there is some unlocked sound that never comes up. How is it used?.
