July 17, 2010Lighting error listed below has been fixed! =)
NOTE: this map was built with gamma/brightness turned all the way up. So, if your gamma and brightness are set to default(50% for each), this map will look very dark!My cubicles Entry. I planned on adding more to the outside area (street), and i also wanted to add windows to a banquet area on the wall opposite the bar, but i'm way over my budget for time on this on already so it's as good as it's gonna get. Things i really would like to add but probably won't:
-custom sky
-sounds and music
-tweaking the scientists and their animations
-custom textures
Note: the street and reflective areas will be omitted for the cubicles mod to stay in compliance with the rules.

Looks like you had a lot of lighting issues, but it looked great!
As to the lighting, if you turn your gamma/brightness settings all the way up, the lighting will look normal.
From now on, i will map at the default video settings so they look as intended...
And I have no idea how you pulled of those fancy red ropes (or whatever they are) without getting brush errors? And I agree with Soup Miner there, "Crazy!" indeed.
Great job. Lighting, architecture, the car everything was high quality. This why i can't give up mapping for goldsource, pulling of these little details with an very old engine.
