What's your other identity in TWHL? Obviously, you are a veteran mapper and an expert one at that. In addition, I can almost smell the influence from "Escape from Black Mesa" and my Museum map in this one.
I didn't realise he deleted it and reposted it, is he really that bothered by what some guy said in his thread? pathetic. If you don't remember what I said, I think I pretty much said it all over again in his new thread. the cliffs are flat and have no depth (at the back), which just makes it look a little odd, and some of the texturing leaves alot to be desired. HalfLife textures are so old and ugly that it's offensive to my eyes to see them used so much.
I think I might go and post this in his thread when I'm done here, yeah good idea, thnx Anonymous/Lucan

This guy wanted suggestions on how to improve his mapping (apparently), then he should have posted in Unfinished. Like I said.

Looks cool in hammer, but I can't run it in half-life. In 1.5 I get some weird opengl error, and in steam it asks for a wad called pts_carryl something-or-other.

It's challenging at parts, but for the most part, fun. I love the little harder-to-find areas with batteries and stuff in them, and like the new texturing and lighting.

This is pretty good...I love the lighting, and you've got a nice eye for detailing things. Texturing is pretty good, and a decent use of hl.wad combined with the CS texes.
You managed to keep your r_speeds down pretty well, though in some areas like the basement and inside the truck it hit 1k+ for me...maybe look into improving that?

It's pretty good, like the gameplay. Could use a bit more detail in some parts, but overall it's nice.
I've seen this map somewhere else though, just a day back or so... a thread containing some screenshots...

You got the "do not run" thing enalbled?
It's challenging at parts, but for the most part, fun. I love the little harder-to-find areas with batteries and stuff in them, and like the new texturing and lighting.
There is a hint to the location of the exit now. And there is a kick at the end that was lacking before.
