Nope, it fades the beam at the starting point only. I've been placing 2 beams that meet at another entity in the middle of their distance to get the effect i want; extra entities, but i guess that should do it for now. Oh well...

That's about the closest I was when a lighting hit near my apartment. Well, let that be 10 more meters. A lightning rod is put on a tower that's near the bathroom window. I was on the toilet.

Sorry to hear Archie I got a kitty not too long ago and he's the man. Cat's are wonderful companions and are part of the family. My deepest condolences go out to you. The pain of loss does not outweigh the many years of happiness you have gotten from his company. Give yourself time to reflect and heal, then get another cat. No animal will ever replace the ones you have lost, but it never hurts to open your heart to another friendship. I Wish you the best.

When a cat lives to the age of 21 you know its had a good life - 21 cat years is ~over a hundred human years. Well looked after, so you did good Archie!

Condolences, Archie. No shame in crying when you lose a pet - they're a member of the family, and losing them is hard. But like CT and Rim said, you had a lot of years with her, and she must have had a wonderful life with you.

Agreed, but they have such short lifespans normally, but it guess it depends breed and whatnot. (my husky growing up only lived to 6, and for the last year she was really sick)

Looking good. Reminds me of quake maps. The soft, blueish light makes it really easy on the eye and compensates for the obnoxious, dark background. The default HL light textures don't do this map any justice Btw, any idea on how to make a beam fade at both ends?
