Never heard of it.
Strife was a retail mod? I didn't even know about that. As far as I knew it was a vanilla freeware game that happened to have "something" that reminded me of Doom. (at the time I didn't even know what an engine was)
I always wanted to try a Doom level editor, but I never found one. I had lots of fun with the Wolfenstein3D editor.

That reminds me, the first game mod I ever played was a Doom mod called Strife. I thought it looked so much like Doom... yet so little... I didn't quite learn what a mod was until years later. Only then I knew Strife was a mod.

In retrospect, I should have given that image a transparent background rather than a base colour, as I've now just noticed that the colour alternates between that one and a slightly darker one.

Mix, your long hair pic is SO 70s! I used to have my hair like that... I miss it. I had to cut it much shorter since it started to fall off, or it would look ridiculous.

On the contrary CT, everyone i've met said that if I lost the facial hair I'd look like a complete tosser. I've cleaned it up a bit but I'm keeing it at my jaw line - a sort of chinstrap. Cause I was a bit of a late bloomer I can't grow that much hair ( I can, but it's patchy) outside of the jaw line so I thought I'd keep it clean until it grows out a bit more.

Girlfriend absolutely digs it, she kinda spurred it on. And trust me, long hair does not suit me - for me anyway, the longer the hair, the younger I look. bear in mind this is like 3 years old, but you get the point. it looks like a mop.
If you want to make your own decal do this: 1. get palette in wally(wad editor) from original texture in decals.wad a. double click on texture b. colors> save pallete 2. import your own texture(decal) to decals.wad and load the palette a. double click texture b. load palette (select the saved one.
necessary to do: get your file black/white and use decal tool in hammer.
save as .bmp indexed mode (standard palette doesn't matter since you edit this in wally(wad editor))

Yes I am working in stencyl. It looks cheesy but that all depends on the user, as it IS powerful enough to make anything you want in 2D. Most of the community are younger kids or developers making fancy things. Its a giant trolling contest for the kids, a giant pissing contest for the developers. I don't spend much time there.
I'm infatuated with self-constructing doodads and func_tanks too, and with the flexibility of the source I/O system, almost anything possible. Hit me up on google talk if you'd like to bounce ideas back and forth =P
Now I want to paly some Doom II!
I want one of these too, and a 3d printer, but I'm going to wait on until the thing makers are a little better..
Have fun! =p
BA DUM TISH
...I'll show myself out.

I wasn't going to make the Vaas comparison but someone else already did so I'm just going to smile and nod.
Anyway, Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday!
If/when you can pull off the 5 o'clock shadow, i'd go with this look. (scars and earplugs optional)

Stojkens: Short hair also suits you, but your second pic looks good as well, very much like one of the vampire leaders from twilight, lol! =)
Ponytails however, are always frowned upon!
Here have serbian music: le music
Plus it isn't that bad.
