Always online always bothers me. Perhaps it's personal bias related to not having a decent connection, but making singleplayer gameplay dependent on being able to sustain a connection to a server 100% of the time, and also on that server being up 100% of the time, is...well, stupid.
Blitz: Hey, steam has offline mode, and it works beautifully. Better than online mode in my experience, actually.

Ok, I'll keep an eye out. It looks like servers are starting to get stressed again, it's getting near prime-time here in the US now.
I managed to play quite a bit today though, perhaps by this weekend things will have continued to improve at the rate they are and we can start something up.
I will once again point out the irony of Steam users complaining about needing an internet connection to game, because it's too funny.

Dimbark, I didn't ask for such nonsense, but I agree on that fact that $60 is a lot of cash. And I don't mind the always online policy that much because I'm always online anyway.
I've added you, Blitz, I don't see you yet, perhaps you have to accept my invitation or something.

Peanutbutter and Apples are good. If you eat toast in the morning, try some peanut butter on your toast or a bagel. The warmth thins it out and it starts to melt mmmmm... Peanut butter and Jam is awesome. I prefer a 1:1 ratio of Jam/PB. They're good with bananas but its super hard to chew sometimes.
My favorite from when i was a kid: Ants on a log: Spread peanut butter over a celery stick and put some raisins on the peanut butter. DELISH!

Yeah if waiting in line to get in until they sort this out doesn't appeal to anyone, then don't buy it yet. It's about a 15 minute wait right now.
I don't even have a laptop so the online thing doesn't bother me. Steam's the same way so I can't really complain about this. Not getting to play for the first day after buying it I will HAPPILY complain about though. That was shite.

I was going to comment on your first status to see if you made the connection to the Journals but then I realised we have no mutual Facebook friends and you would have no idea who I was and you would get really freaked out. Also I can't comment on your page anyway.

Striker you need to make a PB & J sandwich. The dryness is circumvented with a glass of milk. Take a big bite, take a sip of the milk. Repeat.
Also, try a peanut butter and banana sandwich. That one takes a little working up to try, but you will NOT be disappointed. Slice a banana up and after you spread the PB on the bread, add an equal layer of banana slices, then top with the other slice of bread. White bread. Also to be eatan with a glass of milk.
And yeah, what Pengy said. Chocolate spread, or even better, Nutella, which is a chocolate/hazelnut mix. Also best in a sandwich with white bread and a glass of milk.

soundcard doesn't do much for speakers, maybe does for headphones, don't use headphones on pc. CPU is awesome ofc, was and probably still is the best quadcore cpu on market.

just played it. Pretty good mod with a bit simple design. Really cool concept based on Redemption's second chapter. Reasonable but really steep difficulty ramp up. Overall a nice mod with an interesting theme and setting.

Have you actually tried it, Pengy? You'd be suprised.
I was first having it as a kid when Goober was still being sold. I luuurved that stuff. Then they stopped selling it. Wasn't 'til about 3-4 years ago that I started making the combination myself.
Must say I don't think I've ever tried it with chocolate. I'll have to at some point.

Wow. So I googled some of my maps and it turns out that some of my old CS maps made it in the list of some servers. Also, this is incredible, but searching for my maps turned out a very old "portofolio"(of maps) site I tried to make but didn't complete.
This is the site. This is astonishing. I'm not saying I would rely on a free site builder to make sites, but it seems like this site can be trusted. I haven't logged in for 5 years there :.

Googling my only released playable map, cs_omega_assault for CS, only returns a bunch of other assault modifications that happen to be named the same. My TWHL entry is first on results page 2. It doesn't seem to appear anywhere else.

I got a virus or two on my very first computer. I didn't have internet access at the time, they came in a software disc that was bundled with the computer, in some of those sketchy free antivirus apps that were so prevalent in the 90s.

Despite being a great fan of Sim City, I'm not going to play it. Ever. Because
a) it's too bloody expensive
b) it's ONLINE-ONLY even if you don't play online
So they're not getting my money. Ever.
And yeah Atom, I'll play with you. Add Legitzkrieg.
I'm really eager to try the co-op connected cities.
Also I can't comment on your page anyway.

Which is ironic, since Pengy says he works just across the river from where I study.
You like created surf.
You're a legend.
That was my exact reaction when i first saw it

...perhaps now too.
Why not upload it to the vault?
At least 'Half Life Houndeye Statue' returns my map halfway down the first page, that's good right?
