Actually a friend did that at their university. It was 7 ft long.
I'll be honest, I rolled the base and the shit would not stick so I started forming a carrot body by pure accident and then well...The tits were already there somehow so I just added a groove and nipples.

Let me guess. You've been an XP user for ages and you just got Vista? It grows on you eventually although I do get the odd bug. Good thing I can reset my PC to the way it was before. Can't say the same for others. Poor saps.
You have to give it a light weight figure for it to be pickable. You can even give it presets like "Rock Light" which will be pickable with the gravity gun.

Good stuff. It takes a bit to get used to the lighting really and just knowing which textures look good together if you use the default ones.
I've been modelling for Source and getting better but UV mapping is pissing me off. I spent a few hours UV mapping a train I made (more like a tram) and I find that the textures are a little stretched even on a 1024 texture. Gah D:
