well, I don't really know what this does, but I guess that if you mess with the entityes on the .bsp using some kind of software that enables this, you could try to modify or delete some entityes and see if the issue goes away..

The boat was a veichle until some point, but it's so buggy that I've prefered to leave it as a func_train (Whic is a little buggy too :P). And more, at the very begining of this map, it was planned to be just a buch of rivers and everyone had to drive boats, but ofcurse it din't play so well.

I just took a look at it and found that the map layout is quite the same fron de_survivor... well, not a bad ideia but the texturization, although fun and different, is all campred with non seamless textures (you can crearly see that they are just photos).

I've found some flaws like being able to walk trough the edges of the map (some clipping work needed) and a stair that is unfriendly to climb up.

I found the TR Spwan fun, where you walk up in lots of cakes and the like, but it could be better...

Well, not bad, not good, it should be cool to play, but it's proven that the de_survive layout is not the best out there. You could amaze me if this map had some more graphics works :)

Well, about the little rooms for dodging, this is something I don't know exactly if it's good or bad. There is a contrast in this map, in the surface you will find a lot of space to dodge, a lot of players to kill and a lot of ammo, but, most of then are only acessible with the gauss, wich you only get going to the subterrain. Well, I think that at this point the gameplay turn in something like "challenge some players in the subterrain, get the gauss, and then try to go to the surface and kill some n00bs :P"

But if you don't try to get some other weapons, you should be an easy spot for other players who do the same.

About the map being confuse... well, I can't say because I have it all in my head right now, just like de_dust!
Maybe in 10 years I will forget and know if it's easy to get lost :P

About the rar files... well, if you use linux you can just try the unrar command. If you use Windows, just install 7zip and you're good to go, no need for irritating shareware messages or the like!

Really intersting map, I liked the vertical action on it, but I don't know if it's well balanced.

The lighting is a little weired because of the pink tone on it, but hell, it gives an great athmosphere!

This map is pretty cool with TS3, but, even with the powerups well placed, the main action of it works almost on the ground, it's kinda empty on the roof part.

The theme is just a lot intersting because of the building under construnction and I'm sure it will make you angry because you falled down from the last floor!

Yay, I remenber making fun on this with you, this map just make a very cool deathmatch map.

So, You've got some problems in there like Null textures in some places where players can reach with the gauss or the "non killable" trigger_hurt :P

But, hell, it's a really great usage of the hl.wad textures.

You should be able to play it on hl... just unrar it on the half-life/valve/ folder, create a server (with any map) and than change it using changelevel de_mon.

it should work, but you will respwan only in the terrorist's area and there will be no guns... or you can activate cheats and use impulse 101 ;D

So... nobody found the easter egg? ok, i will tell:

First you need to find the button that unlock's the soda machines, it's on B1... you may need to use sv_gravity and jump to the top of the fort, now you need to find for a button that is faced 45? to the floor like this:

It has null faces on the top and back, so, you will see it only when you look in the direction of the arrow. When you press it, a banner will apear. Now head to the soda machines and find the right combination. You need to press "E" in evert soda machines for a while at the top part of it. You will hear a noise if you just press the wrong or a noise and a gas sound if you are at the right rote...

then voila :D

Dave, the map runs only slower because some graphics card's have trouble to manage with a lot of huge additive sprites and a lot of "solid" textures. You can try lowering the resolution, turning down Anti Alising affect's and even changing the API. It helped a lot one frined to play it on a geforce 2 mx....

srry, yea, that's the magic. It would be impossible to make a map like this using default textures scale, the divisions would be overkill. But this type of map is just different. That's the way I like to make maps, as you can see in my past maps. This is basicaly the evolution of my skills and I hope it's enjoyable.

btw, have anyone found the easteregg? It's on the soda machine... you need to make the right combination. BUT before that, you need to find the lock... it's a button ;D good luck

Yea, the map is not that perfect in some aspect's. I tryed to make the river better but it will just look as it is: Blocky... and the boat is more a gameplay balancer ;D

As long as the gameplay is good for you, the map is good ;D

Ok, I've done some changes and now I'm calling it Macro Campus v1.1

The item placement is quite the same, but I still sayng that it's cool. The fun of the map is to climb up the mountain , take the gauss, go to the Windmill, and change to the top of the biuldings with the help of the Gauss. You can kill the "Gauss Man" Using CrossBow (one of the two is very close to the city) There is quite no ammo for it.

If you Need Health and Battery's, Just go to the ONLY Dead end on the map, where you can find rocket's, E-gon's and more!!

The gameplay is running well, I've tested it with 6~8 player's, and it's ok. Obvious, if you are at the top of the mountain, you get more power. Taht's the fun!!

That's something I can't afford. I've played this map for week's with some fridns just to polish the itens positions. Maybe only playng with many player's you can notice it.

Those Blocky car's are just there for cover (instead of Blocky crates, makes more sense...).

Why Gauss is difficult to get? Because with it, you can cath up ANY item in the map easily.
I can't put to much item too, or the map will lag (too much Entity traffic, remenber, it's a Huge open space)

That's a cool remake of dust instead. I've played a lot of it with hin (He is my friend :P) in servers with 10 players.

Ok, I said to him that the dust thing would not be the best, but he did a great job in making the architecture well and placing those good textures.

The lighting is OK and the gameplay is a little different from the most DMC maps. Those open areas from Dust are great for it.

And Dust were a remake (The CT area) From an old screenshot from TF2 :P

Very hard to play with 2 players, we could only get to the glass "bridge" and them, to much aliens :P

It's has a lot of defaul SC element's, but the Continuos monster's spwan even in the areas that you have passed is definitaly a nice thing.

The lighting, achtecture and textures could be better, but that's not the main part from SC :D

Thank's for the feedback, I will just try to answer:

The UT thing I think is just because all textures/sky/sprite were set to 0.5/06 gamma to compenssate the 1.5 gamma from H-L, and, the -bouce 0 freature that I used to compile it, witch UT can't do too.
(Bouce screw's all the map, I think it's because the map is too big and RAD don't work well...)

Those itens terminals were a bit tricky to do, but if you pay attention you will notice a bug :D

About the SS: I Think that the size for showing it is very small. But, anyway, I will give it a try!

I've tryed to make the best gameplay possible. You start without cowbar and with only 6 shots of 356, so there is no span in the sea, but I want span from the rocket area over it!
The crazy way you start the map is just for something different. I've tryed with bot's and, unless you have 16 playe's, you will see many things falling down. (but they don't understend tha't they need to go higher... :P)

The watter is a bit different from the common. I've tryed the best so it cannot lag the server, and scrooling textures would do so...

I'm just curious for what is "Ratchet & Clank" srry :P

Blade Runner? Iside a Pinball Machine? Hum... ok!, hehehe.

Long Jump were just a gift. If you guys have some opinion about new weapons, say it! But, One question: Is the one way to the RPG sufficient? or it would be good anotherone?

I think that those clipping problems are not so bad.. When the map was in development I was having some problems with that.. but now I'm accustomed.

Yes.. the water is very crappy, I'm tryng to do something better in my next map, but that is it for now.:P

About the rock textures.. this was the effect's that I just wanted to add, a strong sun light, but yes, it could be less orange.

Yea.. the lava part was implemented at the end of the project and it is a little "raw" I would say.. I wanted to do something bigger, but there were no space (I would need to put it deeper to get some space). That come's just like a suvenier :P
