Maybe you are just deaf in one ear. Did you try snapping real close to make sure? Congrats on the new hard drive. I hope you get Windows 7 with it because it's pretty nifty. I've never tried Vista, but I do enjoy 7.

Why does mapping on a laptop not make sense? I will be working with it at school and when I am out.
I appreciate everyone's input, but I still think I am going to get it. Most of the comments say spend more for something better, and if I could I would. I feel this is the best laptop I will find around this price. If anyone sees a better one around this price let me know Thanks again everyone.

I am not using this machine to play starcraft 2 on ultra settings or anything. In fact, I probably won't put any games on it. All I want to do is map, 3d model, edit movies and etc. I am not worried about it getting outdated because the computer I am on now is probably much worse and I run new games fine and programs like photoshop with ease. I appreciate both of your comments, but does this explanation change your opinions at all?

Well I've never smoked alone, so if I'm done then I won't throw down any more money to do it again. I like weed better because there's no hangovers and it just makes everything funnier compared to drinking. Sucks that you have to shell out all that extra money for food though :[

Daubster, you can treat smoking just like drinking. Take a few hits then wait a bit and see if it's strong enough for you. If it is, you stop. If it isn't take another or two. It's not like you take one pull, and you're completely out of it.
You can't overdose on weed which is nifty. I'm not a big drug guy. I'll smoke and drink once in a blue moon, but I don't like seeing people put down marijuana because of their own ignorance. The only problem I see with it compared to alcohol is that obviously if you smoke near people they will be affected. Solution: don't smoke near anyone. =)
Oh and my friend told me when he first tried shrooms he took a dump after and it felt like something crawling out of his ass. Thought that was funny.

I would be devastated if I lost my favorite pillow. My deepest sympathies Tetsuo. I was also conscious during the operation. They told me to bring my ipod so I had that on the whole time. I lived off soup, milkshakes and counter strike for the rest of the week.

Haha awesome. What I normally do is take a screen shot of someone's desktop and paste it in paint. They come back and double click on the pictures of icons and get confused. Of course it only works on the comp n00bs.

The window lighting is nice and it's good that this aim map isn't a large box with 4 big boxes in it (aim_ak-colt along with several others). The textures are nice except for the rafters which are too plain and ugly in my opinion. I haven't played this map with other people, but I think it might be better if you add a few crates in the middle and on the metal construction so you can actually survive for a little bit while up there.

This site is an awesome place to learn how to map for goldsource and source. If you don't see that as an advantage then I guess you aren't into mapping which makes me wonder why you hang around here.

It's an interesting concept, but the random boards breaking that make you restart was very very annoying. I would have personally liked to see hints that the floor would break just like you had the fan spinning indicating the trigger_push on the one obstacle.
You included 35 megs of wads most of which are already included into the game. De_piranesi, for example, does not have to be included because it is a default map. There's only a hand full of textures used so there's no need to have 35 megs anyway. I recommend getting a batch compiler and learning how to -wadinclude so people won't have to download the wads seperately.
You should also learn how to use wally if you don't already so you can make your own wad files. You can also take the 1 or 2 textures that you use from 4 meg custom wads into your own wad reducing the file size by A LOT.
I love the idea of making any kind of fun map or mod in cs so keep it up
