If triggers can be activated by func_doors, maybe you could use the doors themselves as switches?

The door positions(A open, B closed) would activate trigger multiples, which could open thin, invisible forcefields walls in front of door C? You could use func_doors, func_wall_toggles, etc.

If this was for Source, it'd be VERY easy to accomplish what you need with the input/output system, but again, I'm not sure exatly how offhand ;)

^ That's hott..

There's got to be an easier way to space than this... Shouldn't we at least have the technology now to launch these things without them blowing up anymore?

That's an awesome idea Stu, do you have a thing maker yourself?

Stojkens: OK thanks. it makes sense, I know by using the batteries a lot, they get REALLY hot if you are cutting/drilling through metal.. Is there any particular type of solder iron you'd recommend for the best results?

TJB: That's a fucking good idea! :P

Kewl shit Instant! I have a keen interest to learn about this stuff too, if not very much experience..

A bit exasperating having to wait a whole year to reapply, but least you found something you are truly interested in, and now you can pursue it.. Great story!

Cool-looking campus BTW!(It looks like Hogwarts!) WAAAY nicer than the lowly state uni I went too ;)

Finally getting around to actually playing this, and I must say it's amazing!

Incredible use of creative shading and just absolutely astonishingly-detailed bruswork! No real complaints whatsoever besides small nitpicks, and this is the clear minicompo winner from all the entries I've seen so far.

I only played briefly but see you removed the train from your final entry? (I didn't noclip or peak at the extras yet)

Really great job mate, this was a pleasure to play and take in everything! =P

I really like all the shit and the dead kids hanging from trees(especially "lying under my car" LOL), but maybe consider expanding the scope of the shit/death to something more than hanging kids after the first rainbow? for the finale you could do something big with the whole world being smeared in poop, and possibly nuclear missiles with kids strapped to them firing over the rainbow :P

We only have them in older neighborhoods or small towns like you said really, but where they are I avoid them whenever possible. (4 or 5 all-way stops in a row is pointlessly annoying)

BTW Dim, how was the Renaissance fair? I used to go to this one every year with my friends from uni, and it was always a great time! =P

PB: It isn't their hip replacement or a "trick knee" or what-the-fuck-ever excuse they tell the cop, it's the fact they become confused as to what pedal they should be pushing.

Read about this asshole if you never saw the story

I think there should be a cutoff point where you just aren't allowed to drive anymore; most of these accidents I've read about seem to be perpetrated by those in their mid to late eighties.

Traffic circles are fairly common where I'm from, and I've never had a problem with them(there are multiple signs telling you what to do before you reach the circle if you never used one before).

I never understood the purpose of 4-way stops though. WHY stop traffic needlessly in all directions, when you could just make it a 2-way stop on the road that's less traveled?

Holy shit mate glad you're ok! :o

Unfortunately these fucking crazy incidents with persons who shouldn't be driving happens all the time. As our elderly population continues to grow, you're going to see these type of things happen even more!

My friend works his second job at a Sunoco gas station on overnights(I guess they have a really good health insurance plan), and not once but twice, the SAME EXACT THING happened at his store.

BOTH times an elderly driver gunned the gas instead of the brake pedal, and fucking crashed right through the front of the store, almost hitting him behind the register the second time! (after the second time they put up those yellow steel and concrete barrier tubes)

Watch your ass out there!
