HL crashed every time I tried the BSP after a while. Even after I compiled it again.
ZHLT must not want me mapping for vanilla HL anymore.

Yeah, they have no marriage rituals. And Ninetrine, you got a problem with high school students living at home with their parents?

'"conformation class" amirite ;D' Nah, they won't force me to join the congregation. Good thing, too, because the power clique is trying to get rid of the minister.
'I have found myself uncomfortably close to them in the past.' How close?

ATI must be stopped. I think I have an ATI card in the comp I'm using, but it's not state of the art, so I'm safe. But without hammer cells you can't map... They are essential to a mapper's life.
Commented 15 years ago2009-06-01 15:43:35 UTC in journal: #5835 Comment #56447
DONT GET AN ATI CARD! IT KILLS HAMMER CELLS!

"I figure you more as an intellectual that's more on the side of science than anything else." There's no reason that science and religion can't go together hand in hand. You can just say God made the big bang, there, everything's explained.
Nice to know that even though you're an atheiest you don't throw other people's religions in the trash. :)

If I can manage to download a C++ compiler at school, I'll be all set to begin the mod as soon as I finish Colony 42. :)

Yeah, we need more sites that host visual components and ent code for use... And with a good internal search engine.

Yeah, I know. It's like swapping models in HL, no coding involved, it just looks different.
Keep us updated!

I'm just expiremeting with hacks, but my milkshape is expired, so I can't do what you're saying. I've tried other editors, but they don't have the texture power or low learning curve that milkshape has.
So far I've made a shotgun weilding massn model, a 'squadgrunt' hack, and a 'commandgrunt' hack, which I'm hoping to use in an op4 style mod someday, as friendly hgrunt variants. :)
Considering they're just hacks, I'd say they're OK, I'm using one in my custom models mod.

Looks nice so far, look into making new enemy sprites, because it's the only thing still mario-esque.

No, I can't GET on steam, that's the problem. :P It just won't finish updating before it crashes because of my slow connection, I'll have to reistall it (I still have it installed, but it won't work properly) sometime, and see if I can get it updated once. It's the reason I don't map for source.

There are Controller adapters you can buy online, too I hear, so it'd be more like having the N64 working, and if you have misgivings about it being ilegal, if you own the game, having a ROM of it is OK, just distrubuting it to people who don't have it isn't.

Damn source, not being me-compatible...
Also, the Monster_HEVsuit dead did'nt work as expected, so I will not be posting it.

I've mapped for source twice, and both times it was on someone else's computer, and I did'nt have time to make a good map, so I tossed in a bunch of ragdolls and left it at that...
