Alas, my slightly strange, mostly depressing, journey comes to a close. I have found a 3800SC motor with 70k on it for $400. Very surprising, but I'm so very happy. Monday we're going to call the shop and get that beast over there. I'd like to expect I'll have my vehicle by the end of the week.

Thought I'd share a link with you all, specifically for any Xbox 360 owners:
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11060348
Buy two cheap-ass games get another cheap-ass one free.
I've got Gears of War, Mass Effect, and Army of Two on the way.
They seem to be changing the titles and amounts slightly, almost everyday. Today Mass Effect isn't there, yesterday it was. The day before it was, but GOW and Battlefield: Bad Company weren't.

If you go to Walmart's video-game section, the sidebar has a special offer link called Game Bundles were you can get more deals like this, and for other consoles.

UPDATE: Turns out, the whole motor is in fact, cashed. I will not be driving for quite a while. =X

So today is the most god-awful day of my life. I'm not sure what is wrong with it yet, but my supercharger has a serious problem. Since the supercharger is stock, the vehicle won't work without it. Now it may just need a $50 part, but it may need to be replaced, which none of us have the money to do. Worst case scenario it will have cashed my motor along with it and I'll be in the thousands rather than the hundreds.

7 days of school left, finals the last two days, and I now have no transportation. All my friends live on the other end of town and most probably won't be willing to take me there, much less back home. Deep sigh. =/

I'm going to keep doing this every day, if I get as lucky as I did today.
Logged on to TF2 before heading off to school, and let it sit in one of the specified IDLE servers until i got home. Found out I had lost connection though, not sure when, but I picked up an Ubersaw, Cloak and Dagger, and 2 Backburners in the time. Though now I have 3 Backburners... >_>

Today was indeed slightly strange. LOTS of snow fell yesterday, a lot of it. This morning all the snow had totally frozen. I should've brushed my car off yesterday while the snow was still soft.

Today my windshield and rear-window were both totally covered in snow. Go figure I had packed my ice scraper in the net in my trunk and that my trunk was completely frozen shut. Rear-seat pass-through was useless being that it was in the net, not until about 10 minutes of defroster run-time did the ice/snow become mobile. They were about 2 inch thick sheets of packed in ice. =X

In all my attempts to get snow off the trunk so I could get to my scraper, I managed to get a lovely abrasion along my finger that wouldn't stop bleeding. Still hurts like shit too, I actually had to put a band-aid on it so I could finally leave.

Even better, I get to school and I started getting millions of comments along the lines of "Oh, I didn't know your ear was pierced." Christ are these people blind. How does no one notice nice shiny stainless steel? >_>

Anyway, this was more or less a venting journal. Feel free to share your pitiful sorrows too.

Ahh... I guess, a year older... just not feeling too much wiser. Finally decided to ditch the faithful old factory radio for something that worked with my iPod. Picked up a CDA-9884 if anyone is interested in seeing. Lovely part is, the red color display matches the dash lights of my car (yay for a car that comes with red dash lights!). It's working quite lovely if I do say so myself.

Well, the funeral is in procession. I've obtained a coffin, the preservations, but no locks yet. I'm about to send my Xbox 360 off to the lovely Microsoft graveyard for revival or removal. Whatever comes first. I was receiving the wonderful 3-Ring light error which usually means a hardware malfunction, and the current symptoms indicate GPU problems, mostly likely melting from its soldering.
In any case, I've got everything I need but the tape. >_>

Ahh yes, raging snowstorm. Everyone is out blowing their driveways BUT ITS STILL SNOWING.
I personally don't plan on school tomorrow. It just looks too damn bad out. But I hear the new district superintendent is from Florida and doesn't believe in snow days. This is just another thing to add to our list of shitty Iowa weather this year. What a bad year...

I love that Mirror's Edge is in my reach, but I'm unable to play it. Not until tomorrow. As soon as I can though, I'll make sure to brag to everyone about it.

Not sure many people are interested, but yesterday evening I finally picked up a copy of Guitar Hero World Tour.
What's amazing is not that i spent $200 buying it, but that no store in the nearest 3 towns had a copy, except the GameStop, which had but 1 copy left.

Otherwise, the gameplay is completely revamped and very unique compared to any of the Rockband and Guitar Hero games I've played in the past. I must also say beating on rubber drums while watching a TV screen proves to be enjoyable...

As promised, although a week or two late, I have finally retrieved some pictures of my tail lights on my car.
Keep in mind these were taken on my cell phone, which I dropped about a month ago, cracking the lens, so the blurs in the right of all the pictures is from that.
And yes, I know my car was dirty. It rains every time I get it washed, and I typically have to park it on the street, so it's covered in dew every morning, and the school parking lots consist mainly of dirt and gravel.

Dumbass moves galore.

My car has a tinted back window, but the problem is that it was tinted by the previous owner, obviously on his own. From the outside it looks fine, dark as it should be. From the inside, it's blurry like a mother fucker.

Well today it was raining, and on top of that my usual parking space at school was taken.

This is where my intelligence comes in. After school I wanted to go out the long way, and the cars behind me had already left, so I went to back into one of those spaces so I could go out the exit I wanted to. Yeah well it rained all day and still was, so I couldn't see through my rear window and it didn't appear in my mirrors... the only car that was still there.

Yeah well luckily for me, I got home and checked, and there was no damage on the rear of my car... not sure about that buick.

So I guess ordering from ebay is sometimes to one's advantage...
I recently (last week Sunday) purchased some Euro Altezza Tail Lights for my 98 Grand Prix, got them today.
Shipping was expensive, $40 USD, but they were brand new and with shipping still cost much less than I would've gotten them anywhere else.
Another reliable source I found that sells cheap auto parts is NewEggMall.com just in case anyone else wanted to take a look.

If anyone wants, I'll post pictures later.
