My local area would be very cool. It'd make a supreme map, 'cos it's pretty varied, lots of little alleys, a nice big open hill behind me, and a couple of fairly wide roads.
Whats the perfect mapping tool, would it be hammer? would it be like hammer but with extra tools that lets you draw the shape you want rather than clipping it?
Small games are the best. I played a fourteen-person HL?DM game a coupl'a days ago and it was pointless. No atmosphere, completely impersonal. Five is fun for HL?DM, eight for CS.
That's a rather inefficent way of doing it. Can't you just have a background image the same size as their combined resolutions, and put two images together, divided in the middle?
If you go onto the brush tool and look down at the area where there's the entity list when you're using the appropriate tool, change "block" or "cuboid" (can't remember which it's labelled) to 'arch', I believe.
