You can, alternatively, use Spirit, which supports fog, rain, etc. (on OpenGL only).

Have you tried running the map in standard CS? It might be a bug in CZ.

If it still doesn't work under that, post the map in the Map Vault and I'll 'ave a look.

It's to do with the trigger_camera. You might want to read the appropriate Camera tutorial for a background.

I think CS just displays a shot from each camera in turn, I don't think they need special names or nowt. Experiment a bit.

Never ever use the Q* tools. They're for Quake.

You're not mapping for Quake, matey!

Always use the second tools you compiled with, the hl*.exes, Zoner's tools.

HL is primarily an OpenGL game, use OpenGL. D3D is just for cards that didn't support OpenGL, basically.
