Oh calm down :) Not like this forum is ever alive...

I remember first seeing Ravenholm in the E3 video and thinking how fun it looked when he blocks the door and the combine soldier kicks it open. Oh and the traps looked great...Shame they cut it out but the Missing Information mod lets you play it so I'm happy now :)

Oh don't get me wrong...I read the news that it was a storm etc and I took pity on the people over there hoping no-one died...

I was planning to map but because it's part of Steam I was un-able to but yeah there are other things in life to do...I was able to tidy my room a little, explore sites I never had a chance to do, chat etc...

Steam is having touble connecting to the Steam servers.

was that make valve a new update for Steam Engine???

okey i start steam over a batch file and it work, mystery...

Well funny you say that because I went straight to the Steam forums once I noticed I couldn't log on and noticd a guy saying something along the lines of using the beta Steam with the friends extension to get on it and set offline mode on...

Penguinboy...no.

It is rather silly that you can't go into offline mode just by choosing it at the log-on screen. Perhaps Valve can update this...

I wasn't able to map which was a small shame but I did get to go outside and enjoy life...^_-

I wasn't going to reply but about a minute later while mapping I realised that you did provoke him to reply Rimrook because you replied to what he said and he replied to what you said.

Anyway that's Orph for you.

Back to the idea of those enemies...I think a turret version that floats and is stationary but rotates would suit it better. You can then run to either a switch that de-activates it or a safe zone that stops it while you stand there...Once you step out it starts up again...Like certain blocks are safe maybe?

Sorry but I don't like it...Nice design and all but enemies like that will only force players to skip the level.

Offer the player a means of destroying them easily rather than allowing them to be shot to death.

The texture scale needs to be large for those huge areas...More interesting lighting with a variety of colours and we'll see how it looks from then.

The thing I hate about these 1337 speakers is the fact they don't realise what muppets they are for using it. I tried explaining to a guy to use proper English because it'll make you look smarter and so on...But as you'd expect he has a go at me and tells me to F off...

Heh I find it funny cause I've never seen a TV news program mention the word 1337 or elite...Sounds weird in American.

I read you can but I also read you won't get updates if you do...Ah come on just leave SDK open so you don't have to keep opening it...

Anyway did the compile have any errors? Maybe it's invisible cause you accidently touched the view distance.
