the police are probably trying to cut down on 'innocent shootings' by tasering their targets instead. But i would think that firing paralyzing darts would be good enough, but noooooo.

hmm, looks like a promising stairwell, all you would need to do after you've done it is to add a banister that goes up with it 
yeh, maybe like archs to those pillars under the path that goes round the map, also, you could add things like crates and stuff to make your map more interactive
hmmm....it looks alot better then the first screenshot showed. If its your very first map then its relatively nice. Its rather basic structure though.

i dont actually play HL2, but from the screenshot i can tell you that 1)its too bare I can only see 1 on 1's at the moment. But apart from that if you changed propably some textures, and maybe a little more design into it and it would look nice for a 1 on 1

firefox was probably slow becaused it required higher computer specs or something. But it really was just trash when it came to loading pages.

EDIT:rowleybob, im having seconds thoughts about firefox. Its crap, the loading of pages is usually over 2 minutes, i could do it in 5 seconds with IE! Sometimes it even refuses to load. Maybe firefox is meant for more powerful computers? Plus it bugs me with its continous 'are you sure' windows. My anti-virus software does that enough. I think ill switch back. My first impression isnt a good one

Damn you level! I started the compiling an hour ago and it's still compiling!Grrrrrrrhe he har har. Compile times getting long eh? I dropped out this compo for now. Ive suddenly been rushed with what was suppoed to be a 'free' summer. Plus hammer is making it hard to apply textures. Whenever i choose to browse through the textures if froze. It freezes the second the box opens. Ill wait for the next compo instead. But i still intend to finish the map
