Yes, there is. And a quick visit to Digital Zone's forums will prove Hunter wrong. Also, there is a non-steam (cracked) server network, that allows you to play CS, CS:S, DOD, DOD:S, HL2 DM, HLDM among other games online with other non steam gamers.
I've read said tutorial long time ago, but I think it's good to have lots of perspectives on how to make terrain. If you had downloaded ghetto's example map you would know that he tries a different approach. Also, it looks like he used two blended textures when you aren't up close.
C'mon srry, you have to admit he's learned a lot with his stay here at TWHL. I think people didn't expect this coming from Ghetto.
The Yeropol Conspiracy - I'm a mapper for this mod. Read it all on ModDB.com. It's based on a russian facility similar to black mesa. Has lots of custom content: MDL's, coding, some tex's and my 1337 mapping skills (I wish...)
Dude, don't post here. This forum is against warez! But if you were intelligent, you'd realize that google is your friend.(and don't even THINK of PM'ing me)
Xen was easy for me, but I have a lot of FPS practice... I didn't like the Xen part of HL. Didn't like it at all. Gotta download Poke646, never played it
What do you mean by project? Single map or a full mod? If it's the first, I agree with you. If it's a full mod.... The modder must have some skill to accept a invitation like that...
I'm afraid I can't help you with your problem, but I've got some advice for you: start using the ZHLT compile tools. I personally use ZHLT 2.5.3 Custom build 1.7
