WinXP SP2 I have actually found to be MORE stable than Win2K. Something about Win2K just doesn't feel "complete" either. Still both better than Vista or XP pre-SP2 however.
OpenGL is FAR BETTER than D3D. It's more widely supported, and IMO is far easier to work with.
Hammer (at least Hammer 3.5) runs in WINE fine, though it takes a bit of configuring to get 3D view working I believe.

Yeah if you have DSL you need filters on ALL of your sockets, if you plan to use a non-DSL device on them.

That is about equal to your setup as far as processing power goes, infact yours is probably slightly faster than my old setup. And I was using this when Steam was in it's infancy and full of bugs, yet it still ran flawlessly with no lag.

I don't have a clue howto play D&D, I'll have to do some reading up. It'd be cool if we could have a Vent channel for it or something too, and make a little IRC bot to handle some things.

My bandwidth usage is reaching 40% now and it's only the 12th eek
I'm not too bothered at the moment, it's not using up much more bandwidth now most of the quality members have got their hands on it. I'm not gonna start worrying unless my bandwidth shoots RIGHT up, which I don't think it will do now everyone has it =]
Maybe we should consider putting the downloads in a dir, and passwording the dir, at least on my site anyway, to stop the influx of retards using the bandwidth, and only quality, pre-approved TWHL members can suck it up

On a side note, this has used up about 28% of my bandwidth already and it's only the 8th of the month xD I'll let you keep it up there for a while, but if it hits 75% before the 25th, I'll have to take it down. I need my bandwidth for FTP storage, emails and such too.

You're wrong, there is alot of mental skill to WoW, devising strategies for certain encounters, working out the theory behind what you need to cast and when. High-end content in WoW isn't all easy. Granted it takes more time than skill but there is still a fair bit of skill behind high-end WoW.
Even if they change it, it won't be long before it's cracked again.
