It should be fairly easy to find some old Mac external CD-ROM drive at some old computer parts place, though.

@G-KID: F5 is easier than PrtScrn as you can run along taking images and not have to Alt-Tb. If you set a decent jpeg_quality var than it will make them small and load quicker so one can just tab thru until they appear.

That tutorial is written for Half-Life 1 and is thus outdated.

Use the entity tool, place a prop_physics, then use the browse button in it's properties to find a suitable model for your purposes.

Use your exact same account info - Steam accounts transfer over multiple computers. They don't require authorization for installation like iTunes secure files, either, for example.

Yeah, most of the files you've described are necessary for the core game to run - You should already have them. If you want to look at sprites or something for CS, you should get [url=http://rabidmonkey777.bluewolf72.com/files/gcfscape.zip]GCFScape[/ur] to open the GCF files CS uses to store files, if you've got Steam.

in rope; Lengthconstraints; lamps Post #89596
Put your constraint on the move_rope instead, try that - That way it'll fix the rope's length in place, else it'll just fall, and screw up.

You could also try a model with a wire on it and ballsocketing it.

Is your US-Based webhosting down? Email us to get moved to our new Network.

OktaGone Publishing has had it tough in the last 2 weeks, and after much discussion, we have decided to cease all US-Based Hosting & Dedicated Server Operations. Current US-Based Customers have been emailed with their options in terms of relocation.

This decision has been made to be in the best future interests of all current and future customers, and will allow us to better service existing and future clients; from our new Australian Datacenter, which we 100% own and operate.

Please bare with us during this massive transition, as we hope to improve our service quality with our new offerings, and regain the name that OktaGone stands for - Hosting with Influence.

Yeah, the entire layout of Radiant is really horrible, imo - I'm never used to a single orthographic view, it's dumb that you have to TOGGLE between the xy, xz, etc, and the silly height bar is an annoyance as well.

If you want an advanced editor that's actually easier to use, go with UnrealED or RED.
