WinBspC is the most accurate decompiler, although it still cuts things up and is quite buggy.

Decompile with it and do, what Habboi said.

in Entity question Post #192649
Pretty simple, if you keep it all in one level:

1. Make the test fire button and set it's default target to anything, but the rocket sequence (omglol works too ;) )

2. Set up the fuel & oxygen rooms. It should have two buttons, that, when pressed (use multisources) activate a trigger_changetarget, that changes the test fire button's target to the name of the rocket sequence.

If you want to make the oxygen room in a separate level - you'll have to use Globals (this tutorial explains the global ent setup, you'd probably need)

A very good-looking and creative remake! :o
If it didn't say 'ak-colt' in the name - I would have never recognised it. Usually - I hate aim maps, especially ones as ugly as akcolt and I hate the remakes even more (mostly because remakes feature a ladder, that lets you get on top of one of the blocks and ruins the gameplay (like there was any gameplay to ruin ;) ) and Awps instead of colts & mks.
But this.. This is truly a very beautiful remake, that keeps the 'gameplay' right.

Don't expect getting any recognition amongst complete csgeeks, although I bet, that any server, that's decent should accept your map. :)

Great work!

in Religion. Post #192583
SCIENTOLOGY

I wanted to flame that pile of nutty crap for a pretty long time..
A few facts, that I'd like to point out:

1. The religion was created by a smart-ass sci-fi writer, who believed, that the only way to make some decent money is to create your own religion. He admitted it later on.

2. Scientologists say, that each of us have an alien spirit (Body-Thetan) inside our heads, that is responsible for all of our troubles. We can strengthen and thus become richer, luckier or get rid of any illness/addiction, by paying them amazing ammounts of money and by using the E-Meter.

3. If you leave the cult, without authorization - the scientologists will dig in your biography, trying to find anything 'bad' about you and sell it to the media.

4. The scientologists actually call themselves a 'Non-profit organisation' and still ask the cult members to pay astronomical prices for nothing and use huge mansions as 'religion centers'.

5. They say, that aliens have invaded earth hundreds of millions of years ago and killed the dinosaurs with bombs, because "Errupting volcanoes just weren't enough to kill them". The bomb was so strong, that it killed the aliens and left thousands of souls, that have attached themselves to us.

Tom Cruise once said: "Some people, well, if they don't like Scientology, well then, fuck you. Really. Fuck you." Twisted tard, or what?
Scientology is a global racket, that involves blackmailing and financial crimes. It was created by a guy, who wanted to make money. It is so full of shit, that it's the strangest thing, that some morons actually fall for it.
It's not a religion - it's a fucking army of fanatics that make rich disabled idiots believe, that shoving huge sums of money up your ass actually helps you getting off the needle, or performing better at your job.
Scamming hopeless primates is one thing, but bashing and hunting down critics is just fucking sick.

How no-one considers this illegal, is beyond me. The scientologists deserve to be bashed with a cross and have a stick with rusty nails sticking out shoved up their ass. :

Heh.. Not bad..
I agree with DarkKilauea on the posing & humour, and yea - the size is a tad too big. Keep the size of any comic below 500kb.

I'd also give a 3/5 for the bubbles and sfx.
The outline of the bubbles was a bit too thick, imo, and the text was a tad too small.

Still - a very nice-loking comic. :)

in Gaming Chapter Post #191420
It really depends on the games and the way the kid plays them.

Personally, I know some CS-obsessed 3rd graders, who talk in radio commands all the time and play it 24/7.
Yes, that really damaged them, although it's mostly the parents' fault for not controling their playing times.
Even if I played any game 24/7 all the time, I'd end up totally fucked and socially degraded.

I have a classmate, who calls playing WoW an 'art'. He's 16 fucking years old and yet - he's obsessed with that crap.

Now I don't say, that games or game violence should be banned, hell no. I don't think, that parents should control their childrens' gaming 100% cause, that wouldn't work.
I say - if the kid likes some game - push him into development, not only endless playing. E.g - if a kid is a cs-maniac - give him a link to TWHL or any other mapping/developing site. Fuck it, give him a link to FPSB, where he could post his crappy csgeek skins, huds, etc.
Making all of that will actually give him some useful experience in 2d graphics/level design and actually weaken his game addiction.
I mean - I got into coding, because I wanted to mod for HL and now I can use that c++ knowledge anywhere, where I want to.

Imo - this way is one of the best ways of actually getting some use of the endless hours spent in front of the screen.

15th was pretty good.
Although the van in the frame, just before the crash was a bit too high off the ground, imo.
And the crash frame wasn't convincing enough. I mean.. A van falling off a cliff should make a pretty big boom with gibs n' blood everywhere, not just smoke. You could add some flying auto parts and make the guy have some blood on his shirt for some extra realism.

16th had pretty good posing and I really liked the idea. :D
