Some of the other particle effects and shiny surfaces etc work fine. The env_fog entity just refuses to do anything. I tried putting a ton of them in a test map all with different values to make sure it wasn't working.
I guess I don't need fog that much...it just adds a ton of atmosphere and I like everything that should work to be working
I also tested it in each rendering mode.

I have fgd file etc I don't know why steam fucks up some HL mods. For example, I have They Hunger and the menu still looks like regular half-life which I KNOW They Hunger wasn't designed that way.
How do I get my mods to act under steam like they do under won? I want spirit to work!!

I am looking into computer audio for a career road, just a possibility. I'm looking for something like audio editing, composition, synthesizing and creation. However, I'm not sure where to start looking. What do I search for in software? In classes? Do most colleges offer such a specific field like that? I'm looking for something involved in film.
What would the general course be that people take to get into that sort of career? Jobs from this include foley artists for films, sound designer for film, computer sound effects, game sounds, digital music. You know? Can anyone help me start down the right road for researching?

I think you all should realize the fact that you don't know anyone on here as a person and that you shouldn't consider any of them a "friend." Getting into serious talks about "rifts" forming between your online "friends" is definitely not socially healthy thing. If someone doesn't like you on an online board, just ignore them. Don't worry if your "friend" doesn't talk to you anymore, you don't know them, and they don't owe you any obligation.
