@Zl - I have always thought that thing about the colours aswell.
Like if someone looks at a wall and says it is blue, and to me it is actually yellow, but I know that as being blue etc.

No, it doesn't. 3x10^8 / 2 = 1.5x10^8 still, just that light doesn't travel at half the speed. It's just that its speed is not divided by two, which is why it gives the same answer. Maths described physics, not the other way 'round.

I'm not sure about that colour thing. It's just how your brain interprets it... one just associates the interpreted optical signals with the words that others use. As long as your perception doesn't change, it doesn't matter.

On a slightly different theoretical note, I don't think it will be long before we have devices that can amplify our brain power and let us move things or somentrol things with our minds. I saw a game of some kind at a science convention one time where two players sat at each ends of a table wearing a special "brainwave magnifying" hat. There was a ball in the middle and the object of the game was to pull the ball all the way to your side by only focusing with your mind on it. the ball had something in it that responded to signals given by the hat which received signals from the wearers brain, ultimatly moving the ball toward the stronger signal. Some people tried it, it was pretty cool to watch.

WCD: Yeah, I've seen that on TV a couple of times. Cool stuff... but didn't it move when you had the least brain activity? Makes the game alot harder - don't think about it while playing it .

Yeh I've heard of that, you have to be the more relaxed person or something.

It was a while ago, it could have been focusing on relaxing for all i know, I can't remember exactly.

If any of your are interested i suggest you look at Astral Projection or Lucid Dreaming, very interesting stuff.

It shows just what the brain can do!

Astral projection (as an idea) is pretty cool, there's been several 'cases', one of the most famous i think was onboard a tanker far out sea, the captain had seen a projection of a man who told the ship to turn some degrees west or something, anyway captain did it and stumbled acrossed a shipwreck with a survivor, looked exactly like the projection.
