The item_sodacan entity is usually only ever seen when being spawned by an
env_beverage entity. However, this does not stop us from taking advantage of its 1 health-adding powers.
Attributes
- Name (targetname) - Name is a general attribute used to identify entities.
- Pitch Yaw Roll (Y Z X) (angles) - Changes the rotational position of the item.
- Beverage Type (skin) - Sets the texture of the cans.
- Coca-Cola (0) - A lime green can with what appears to be half a kiwifruit pictured, labelled "HAI !" in white.
- Sprite (1) - A brown can with yellow droplets pictured, labelled "GLUB" in yellow.
- Diet Coke (2) - A red/blue can with red berries pictured, labelled "GRAPE" in white.
- Orange (3) - A blue and green can with a lighter blue face pictured, and a label that is too pixellated to read clearly.
- Surge (4) - A dark green can with darker coloured ends, labelled "YUCK" in white.
- Moxie (5) - A yellow/orange can with a fiery effect, labelled "DANTE" in dark red.
Flags
- This entity has no special flags.
Notes
- An env_beverage entity needs to be placed first, or otherwise the precache for the can model never happens. The env_beverage doesn't need to actually be triggered - it just needs to exist before any item_sodacan in the entity lump of the level so that precache calls happen.
- The beverage type 6 (Random) is not available on this entity. env_beverage is responsible for choosing a random skin for the soda cans it spawns.
