I think I'm motivated to map for gmod now. I mean, wtf, my map is a hit !(nah, just kidding, but in comparison with the number of downloads here on twhl....)
I only released the map 3 days ago and here are the results :

According to the Mayan calendar, we are only less than 3 years away from the end of the world. Like some of you have noticed for some time now, the year 2012 as the doomsday year has been a hot topic on many forums all over the web. They seem to be changing the titles and amounts slightly, almost everyday. Today Mass Effect isn't there, yesterday it was. The day before it was, but GOW and Battlefield: Bad Company weren't.

I've been thinking of retooling the predisaster maps in Colony 42, so the detail quality is more constant. Feel free to post any ideas, as I will be making the levels a bit larger to increase immersion.

Releasing the source files for a lot of TF2's default maps is a great idea. It's gonna result in a lot of variations in the maps and a lot of fixes that the player base has been wanting.
Hopefully it brings life into not so popular maps like Hydro, or fixes problem maps like 2fort.
Anyway, it's just cool that Valve went and did this. I'm excited for what people make of this.

I was gifted with a Nokia 6500 Slide, Carl Zeiss optics , 3.2 Mp and Auto-Focus.
This baby is a jewelery. The lens actually mechanically move like in a real photo camera ! That means I can take ( even though not excellent quality ) macro pics. I also have a 2GB card on it :D. Oh, and it has ultra-bright leds for night pics.
Here they are ( I posted a gallery on my blog, it's easier for me) :

As you can see, most of them may need a bit of color correction, I think they lack warm colors.

My roommate moved out to go back to his parents' place today. My pad already feels dreadfully empty and depressing. Luckily tommorrow I move out as well to another friend's place. He has great internet and it will help as I play TF2.

A foreman was assigned three new workers, two big strong local men, and a little guy from Japan.
Because of their size, the foreman gave the two locals the digging work, and told the Japanese man "You'll be in charge of supplies."
After an hour or so, the foreman came back to check on their progress only to find the two locals sitting down doing nothing.
"What happened? Why aren't you at work?"
The men replied that their tools were broken and that the Japanese man in charge of supplies, had disappeared.
Worried, the foreman ordered the two men outside the mine to help look for the little guy.
Just when they were about to give up the search, the Japanese guy jumps up from behind a rock and yells "Supplies!!"

The past 2 days have been pretty crazy for me!
Thursday night I went to a party with some friends at a club near me, as usual I ended up drinking too much and got groovy on the dancefloor and I think I had something to do with making a radiator fall off the wall aswell. My bad.
So anyway, I staggered home at some point in the morning and spent about 10 minutes trying to get the damn key in the door, eventually I got in and jumped into bed.
The next morning arrived and I was woken up by my mum leaving for work at about 8:15am. I then spent from that time to 10:00am throwing up. Woo, but atleast I was done doing that so it can only get better!
10:15am my tutor from college turns up at my door and reminds me that I'm doing the sound for a college gig today and he's here to pick my drumkit up. FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU. Okay.. No problem, I'll just get my sorry ass through the day as quick as I can. I arrive at the theater and unload my drumkit, I then end up going to the backroom and falling asleep sprawled across two chairs when I was supposed to be setting up equipment, apparently I was so far gone that I didn't move when my tutor came in and dropped a load of metal parts and drumskins on the floor right next to me.
So anyway, a long story short, I eventually woke up and made my way back to the stage area, went and got some lunch and felt a little better, but then had to stay there until 11pm doing the sound for the show... And it was a loud show.
