Oh how i just adore walking! NOT!

Remember that bus incident? Well this time it was the same thing only that i got arrested! Like what the hell? I am walking to a bus station, this time not at 23:55 but at a decent 23:00, and all of a sudden, a police car stops me. Im thinking, must be this hat im wearing (we call it crook hat here). And they are all like: What are you doing here, where are you going, what are you planning and shit like that. I Answer: Nothing, i am just going to a bus station to go home. They ask me how old am I and ask for my ID, but for my misfortune i forgot my wallet at home. I tell them that and they ask me to empty my pockets and remove half of my cloths on -10Celsius! After that i ask them why are they doing this, after which they got pissed off and arrested me. So i spent 2 hours inside of the police station giving them my personal information. But do you know whats the best part? THE DAMN COMPUTER has no info on me! They said i don't exist by this name/address/what not.
So after some time talking and getting some F-ING sense into them they agreed to release me with no charge or having to pay for not possessing an ID card when asked to give it.

So there i go again, walking for 3 hours back home -___-#
Froze my ass off :<

Is it a crime to not carry ID in your country? Nothing like that here unless you're driving or buying alcohol and so on... Does your country enforce a curfew time for young people or something?

I guess you were going to catch the bus and you had no wallet. Fare evasion is a crime!

@ Skals - Yeah totally

@ Captain T - Nope, they just let me walk home, alone, at 1AM at nigh, while its was very cold :/
I hate buses __

@ Penguinboy - They can fine you from 75$ to 750$ for not having and ID card with you. I was just walking home, non intoxicated, nothing, plain normal walking. I have no idea what do they enforce, they went on a strike a week ago, and yet they arrest me, who never stole anything in his life or did anything thats a crime offense.
All i had was 50RSD for a bus ticked and my phone. They even asked what my MP3 was lol.
But all ended well if you ask me, next time i am not forgetting my wallet ever again.

Wow, that's quite extreme being able to fine you for not having ID.

Damn, Serbia is one harsh country, never heard of a law like that before.

If you ask me, im kinda for it. Lots dumb idiots on the streets at night, they need to be dealt with.
But yeah, extremely high price for something like that.

I know I should just forget those overused stereotypes of Eastern Europe, but... I can't help but picture you getting carried away in a Fiat 124.

Also, I know of at least one country that has recently passed a law that legally prosecutes anybody buying foreign currency because it's considered an act of terrorism against the state.

I like how that police vehicle is in a handicapped reserved parking spot.
Someone should give them a ticket.

Sucks that they can just demand ID from you for no reason like that. Here unless you're driving or buying alcohol you don't have to have it, or produce it should they ask unless you're doing something wrong.

Unless you live in Arazona and are brown, then you're shit out of luck.
