Our lazy local government didn't even bother with the usual fireworks display, small as it may be in this little city. Ironically, that makes us seem more Australian.

@potatis: At my last job I had to maintain a set of legacy VB6 apps that were lager than most. Sometimes they said we had to port them to .net, but that never really got approved. Had we ever done it, would that have made them beer?
