Making another stupid boring map no one is gonna see or download or both (WIP)

yesterday i played portal for the first time. but i ended up uninstalling it because my small dumb stupid brain couldnt solve the puzzles. But i got inspired, and decided to make a portal deathmatch map for Half-Life, because, why not?

So i got inspired by TFC´s 2fort, and made something like that:

It felt kinda empty, so i added a few corridors and windows:

image links need to point directly to the image file, not a web page. If it doesn't end in .jpg/.png/.gif, etc, it's probably not an image link.

I've fixed your images, but for some reason your second image links to an image that says 'no pic :('. That looks like a mistake on your part.

Quite the random selection of random pictures really.
That tridimensional door looks really neat, but the brushwork is terrible, looks like carving was used, which is bad practice.

Oh damn, uhh, the No pic must be a server error. Gonna fix that later. But thank you!

Yeah, try and avoid carving as a general rule. It almost always results in terrible splitting of brushes and a ton of off-grid vertexes which will ultimately cause compile issues which can be difficult to resolve. You can get a much neater effect using the arch tool and a little vertex manipulation like so:

BTW you can directly upload images to your forum posts. Simply take a screenshot (e.g. with ShareX, it'll copy the image to your clipboard), and Ctrl+V in the input textbox.
As an alternative, you may use Imgur or some other image host.
