yeah i am a bit shit with hammer
but i am good with more advance editors (use them more)
ie. the unreal ed and the like

and i hope that the hl2 editor will be more like the kind of editors i am comfortable with.

Can't get a button to trigger a light on and off

and i can't make it any more simple

light:

then all the
brightness crap

flags: (yes) inisually dark

button:

name:button01
target:light01
and then all the sound settings

and the flags (yes) don't move

if u used a multi-manager to spawn the zombies and then to trigger a scripted sequence once they spawned and make the zombies move in the disiered direction (an assuming that monsters from a monster_maker can be named and that u know how to use scriped_sequence)

am willing to explane.....

it depends what kind of fps you go for

i like atmosphere in a game thats why i like doom3, halo, and i fink theres a thrid game like that that i have played......

but most of my mates like the kind of point and pull kinda games
such as ut 2004 and cs:s, and mabye hl2

guess that every one has there thing.....

ok i have been using the game player equips to give deagle ect all the time but have found a problem

when the equip gives the players weapons at the start of a round it runs and works fine

but in this case, a locker that gives the player an ak when opened

this is for cs if that makes a difference----

the platform isn't a model by the way as the textures are in the hl.wad
its just 2 bsp brushes one up and one down and it flicks between the two with an env_render

mp mapping isn't nub, if any thing its harder especily when u try to work out the basic lay out- because if u have to think bout the map from different angles ie where all the players spawns are all the possible routes and places to go-

where as sp can be very linier-
