Hey! Does anybody know of a good decompiler that is easy to use?

Also, how big is a crouching player in CS: Source? I need to know how big to make a vent. (In pixels, please)

clip and vertex manip both have advantages and disadvantages.. I use clip much more than VM, but some things you can do with VM, you cant with clip...

But yeah, they're equally good.

check flags. Un-tick no-damage. If that doesnt solve it, make sure its not inside a brush..

its possible Arcan, but really, i've never heard of that sort of thing happening.. i mean, if a brush is invalid, its just either not going to compile or it'll not appear in game...

water is only 1 brush. I've never heard of a single face being invisible due to brush problems...

I'm gonna stick with the funny texture theory.

hmm... have you tried deleting the water to see if its the tub or the water thats causing it?

Try switching water textures.. experiment.. And to save compiling the whole map repeatedly, just paste the tub and water into a small map for testing purposes

if you're playing it on LAN, there is a server command that will enable monsters.
Load your map, type the command and then re-load the map..

i cant remember the exact command but its something like

mp_allowmonsters 1

they might be partially in a wall or floor.. If this is the case, they will 'fall out' of the world.

Make sure that when you select them, the yellow border square is not inside a brush.
